JP Morgan scoops South Korea advisory crown

JP Morgan has landed its second advisory mandate on a bumper South Korean deal this year as Kumho Asiana, the conglomerate, agreed a 6.4 trillion won (€5.3bn) deal to buy Daewoo Engineering & Construction.

The merger was confirmed in a statement today by Korea Asset Management, the state debt restructuring company, and one of the company's leading creditors.
