JP Morgan to settle IPO fraud suit for $425m

JP Morgan has agreed to pay $425m (€345m) to settle allegations of fraud in relation to initial public offerings during the Internet stock boom of the 1990s.

A spokesman for JP Morgan said the firm had reached an agreement "in principle." The settlement still needs approval of US district court judges presiding over the case and the plaintiffs.
