JPMorgan chief executive Jamie Dimon is among the financial sector big-hitters to meet Liz Truss’s new chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng during his first days in the job.

Dimon, who is in London as JPMorgan hosts a leveraged finance conference, received an invite to meet Kwarteng, who was named as the new chancellor as part of prime minister Truss’s new cabinet on 8 September, according to people familiar with the matter.
