JPMorgan shook up the senior ranks of its equity capital markets business, naming a new sole head of the unit amid a slump in fundraising.

The US bank has installed Achintya Mangla as global head of equity capital markets, according to a memo seen by Financial News. His co-head Michael Millman becomes global chair of investment banking. Mangla will relocate from London to New York
