JPMorgan increases entry level salaries for junior bankers to $100,000

JPMorgan has joined rivals in hiking pay for junior bankers, with first-year analysts now offered starting salaries of $100,000.

The pay rises are set to come into place on 1 July, and will be applied globally, people familiar with the matter told Financial News. Second year analyst pay is set to rise to $105,000, while those three years into their career will receive $110,000. Local currency equivalents will be applied outside of the US.
