JPMorgan has poached a senior executive from BNP Paribas to run a new sustainability centre within its global markets business, as large investment banks rush to capitalise on the surge in interest in ESG products.

The US bank has launched a new Global Markets Sustainability Center within its sales and trading business, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News, and is aiming to help clients in the unit create ESG products amid growing demand.
