JPMorgan says it has no plans to acquire stake in Deutsche Bank

JPMorgan says it has no plans to buy into Deutsche Bank, after reports that the troubled German lender had caught the attention of potential acquirers sent its share price up on Friday morning.

A report in the German press said that both JPMorgan and China's ICBC were considering acquiring stakes in Deutsche, shares in which have been hugely volatile during several difficult years for the group and which at the close of yesterday were valued at €9.52.
