JPMorgan's investment banking fees fell by 54% during the second quarter of 2022, kicking off a reporting season for Wall Street and European banks that will show how much the dealmaking boom has slumped.

The US bank made $1.7bn from investment banking in the second quarter, down 54% on last year.
