Julius Baer hires for alternative investment push

Julius Baer Investment Management (JBIM) is building on its presence in the alternative investment area, doubling its team in New York with further hires expected both in the US and in Europe.

In Zurich, Julius Baer Asset Management is considering hiring a senior marketing officer for its non-traditional funds group. In New York (JBIM) it is looking for another member for its research team covering relative value strategies, apart from its recent additions. The non-traditional funds team is currently 15-strong.
