Julius Baer Asset Management, the asset management unit of Swiss bank Julius Baer, has hired Thomas Gruenenfelder to the newly created post of head of global equities, as the bank continues restructuring its top management.
Gruenenfelder joins after spending four years at Swissca Portfolio Management, the Zurich-based mutual fund provider, where he led the equity team and managed international and Swiss equities for institutional clients. Before that he was an investment adviser at Swiss Capital Group, an independent asset management and corporate finance company.
