Jupiter has hired Elena Shaftan from AIB Govett Asset Management to manage Eastern European portfolios.

At AIB, Shaftan had responsibility for stock selection across the former Soviet Union. She had a key role in the launch and management of AIB's European Split Capital investment trust.
