Eric Karp, former head of financial sponsor coverage at JP Morgan, has re-emerged at Bank of America (BoA) after more than a year out of the banking industry.

Karp is joining BoA to head its US financial sponsors group after a year working for Access Private Equity, a firm he helped set up after quitting JP Morgan in March 2001.
