The government-backed Fair and Effective Markets Review has published a wide-ranging consultation paper on the fixed income, currencies and commodities market, asking for views on issues ranging from electronic trading to standardisation of corporate bond issuance.
The review, led by Nemat 'Minouche' Shafik, deputy governor for markets and banking at the Bank of England, published the paper late Monday asking for the views of market participants on what needs to be done to restore confidence.
