Deloitte & Touche, the UK-based consultancy and accountancy house, has appointed Martin Kitcatt as head of private equity, following the firm's acquisition of Arthur Andersen's UK business in April.

Kitcatt will report to Chris Ward, head of Deloitte's corporate finance advisory business. Deloitte is integrating around 217 former Andersen staff into its corporate finance practice, including about 28 partners. This includes transaction services, such as due diligence.
