Private equity giant has made equity investments totalling €8bn in France since 2002

Buyout firm KKR has recruited its first head of France, Jérôme Nommé from Sun Capital to lead its private equity investing in the country.

Nommé will join on September 1 and will be based in Paris, KKR said in an announcement. Nommé will work closely with the infrastructure, real estate and credit businesses, KKR added.
