Sources close to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts have clarified the private equity firm’s plans for its third European fund.

KKR declined to comment for regulatory reasons but the sources aware of its plans said it had raised €4bn ($6.2bn) at its first close in early February and would make a second close in May before reaching a final close.
