Kleinwort Benson, the UK-based private bank, has hired a senior investment manager for the portfolio management team, to look after some of the bank's wealthy family clients.

Mary Haly joins from Baring Asset Management where she spent five years as head of UK institutional equities. Prior to this she worked at the start-up asset management business of Société Générale as an investment manager and head of research.
