KLM funds hires emerging markets debt managers

The pension fund of KLM in the Netherlands have appointed Ashmore Investment Management, Pimco and Bridgewater Associates for global emerging markets debt mandates of €100m ($99.7m) each.

The KLM funds previously invested in emerging markets debt on a passive basis, but believe they can add value through active managers. The three managers were appointed for their specialist knowledge, as well as their track record.
