Knorr Capital Partner to reduce headcount by 75%

Knorr Capital Partner, the German listed venture capital firm, is reducing headcount by 75% in order to reduce cash burn, and chief executive Thomas Knorr is stepping down.

The firm has suffered from difficulties exiting investments, and has seen the value of its investment portfolio halve to €90m ($80.7m) since it posted half-year results in July 2001, because of further write-downs on portfolio companies.
