Goldman Sachs has boosted its new internet advisory unit by hiring a group of nine consultants from KPMG International.

The new recruits include Ketan Patel, the head of European strategy and new ventures at KPMG, Jean-Herve Jenn, the European head of the information and commercial entertainment consulting practice, and the UK head of the same unit in the UK, Joe Sealy.
