KPMG’s UK boss Bill Michael steps aside as firm probes his comments during staff call about Covid

Michael told staff to 'stop moaning' and stop 'playing the victim card' during a virtual town hall meeting

KPMG's UK chair, Bill Michael, has stepped aside after telling staff on a call to “stop moaning” about Covid-19 working life.

The Big Four accountancy firm confirmed on 10 February that Michael had relinquished his role while his comments were being investigated.
