Kweku Adoboli, the former trader who lost UBS $2.3bn through unauthorised trading, has launched a crowdfunding page in a last-ditch effort to fight deportation from the UK.

Adoboli, who was born in Ghana but has lived in the UK since he was 12, could be deported as early as Monday when he is next due to report to the Home Office. The 38-year-old could then be permanently prevented from returning to the country or entering Europe, and the US.
