The City’s leading ESG experts are hopeful that a Labour victory in the general election will allow for a “reset” on the UK’s net zero agenda, jumpstart the economy and deliver green jobs.

The Labour Party, which maintains a comfortable lead over the Conservatives as the British public heads to the polls on 4 July, has promised to make the UK “the green finance capital of the world” and to prioritise the country’s sustainable finance policies.
