The “broken” lobbying system needs to be overhauled, Labour Party leader Keir Starmer said in the House of Commons as the Greensill scandal embroils the Conservatives.

“The Greensill scandal is just the tip of the iceberg: dodgy contracts, privileged access, jobs for their mates,” Starmer told MPs on 14 April, while calling on them to support his party’s calls for a parliamentary inquiry into the scandal. “What we need is to overhaul the whole broken system.”
