Lack of terrorism cover grounds Manx Airlines

The UK Government will not extend its emergency terrorism insurance cover to planes registered in the Isle of Man, an important offshore financial centre.

British Airways confirmed that the lack of cover against terrorist attacks has forced it to stop flying planes owned by Manx Airlines, the local carrier it bought in the earlier this year.
