Guy Wyser-Pratte, the activist investor targeting the French conglomerate Lagardère, has said he will give the company's general partner Arnaud Lagardère six months to reform the way the firm is run before trying to force another shareholder meeting.
Wyser-Pratte said: "If he hasn't turned the situation around in six months then I will work to get another meeting. I had 22% of the shareholders back me yesterday, and in France you need at least 5% of the shareholders to agree to requisition an extraordinary general meeting."
