Icelandic bank Landsbanki has hired two new leveraged finance bankers to its origination team in an effort to build its relationship with financial sponsors and develop its lending operations.

Dave Amber, who worked for 21 years at Royal Bank of Scotland, arguably the leading bank in the leveraged finance market, has joined Landsbanki as director responsible for the origination portfolio.
