Steven Laughton, former Dresdner RCM Global Investors senior portfolio manager, has joined Deutsche Asset Management's newly-created global equity team.

Laughton used to be an associate to Bill Stack, former global equity chief at Dresdner RCM. Laughton left Dresdner RCM a year ago for family reasons, at around the same time as Stack. Prior to working for Stack, Laughton was the Singapore-based head of equity research for Koneman Capital Management.
