La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild, the French investment boutique, has hired two hedge fund managers to set up an alternative asset management unit.

Jacques Bocquet and Joël Pinto have joined from Neuflize Arbitrage, the alternative asset management company they set up in 2003. Bocquet was chairman of Neuflize Arbitrage while Pinto was chief executive.
