Francesco Caio has made his second appointment since becoming chairman of Lehman Brothers European advisory board last month, with the appointment of a former chairman of the UK Government's regulatory task force.

Caio has appointed Sir David Arculus, a director of Spanish telecoms company Telefonica, bringing to 11 the number of executives on its rapidly expanding European advisory board.
