Lehman backs new hedge fund venture

Wesley Paul, former global head of investments at JP Morgan Asset Management, has set up Edgeworth Capital, a new UK-based investment management firm, which will be backed by Lehman Brothers.

The firm, majority-owned by Lehman Brothers, will focus initially on hedge fund products that will target institutions and high net worth individual clients. This is the second venture Lehman has embarked upon in an effort to build its alternative asset management business.
