Lehman Brothers has appointed Hanspeter Gehrer as managing director in the bank's Zurich office in a bid to broaden its Swiss capabilities.

Gehrer joins in July, after 12 years at JP Morgan working primarily with Swiss and German insurance companies. He was vice-president, working in the London office.
