Lehman Brothers has hired Mary Pieterse-Bloem as an executive director in charge of central and eastern Europe within its debt capital markets team.

Pieterse-Bloem was most recently head of debt origination for eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Eemea) at DrKW, before leaving the German bank in December. Before that, she was co-head of the Eemea origination effort at BNP Paribas.
