Lehman Brothers predicts strong growth of German markets

Capital markets activity in Germany will grow by more than 20% annually over the next few years, according to Lehman Brothers, which has opened a newly-built headquarters in Frankfurt.

The US-based investment bank, which already has a broad footprint in Germany's debt and equity capital markets, expects capital markets volume in Germany to almost double by 2003, to €15bn ($13.2bn).
