Lehman Brothers has boosted its advisory business by hiring Emmanuel Roger from Société Générale as a managing director in Paris and John Rhea from JP Morgan as managing director and co-head of consumer and retail investment banking in New York.

Roger was head of Société Générale's capital goods team in Paris focusing on the aeronautic, defence, automobile, engineering and metals sectors.
