Legal & General Investment Management has brought in a funds industry veteran who spent more than a decade at JP Morgan before leaving this year, to fill a senior role in its own fast-growing DC business, just weeks after appointing an overall head of its 400-strong DC team.

Simon Chinnery has joined LGIM, which had total assets of £853 billion as of the end of June and whose DC business handles £48 billion, as head of DC client solutions, according to a September 13 statement. It is a new role at the fund manager.
