Legal & General Investment Management, one of the UK’s largest fund managers, has hired Fidelity International’s Sonja Laud to become its deputy chief investment officer.

Laud, who takes up the newly created role in January, was head of equity at Fidelity, where she has worked since May 2017. She was also a member of the company’s global equity management team.
