Libertas Capital to float on AIM

Senior financiers from two high-profile failed dot-com ventures are planning to float Libertas Capital, a specialist financial services group, on London's Alternative Investment Market this month, valuing it at around £26m (€39m).

Jakob Kinde, who was the co-founder and chief executive of EO, the online initial public offering share distributor and a NewMedia Spark director, is Libertas' chairman while Tom Teichman, NewMedia Spark chairman and founder, is a non-executive director. Libertas was set up in 2002.
