Life Sciences Partners, the Dutch venture capital firm, has hired Joachim Rothe, former managing director at healthcare investment firm MPM Capital, as a managing director to head its new German office in Munich.

At MPM Capital, Rothe was managing director of its German operations. Before joining MPM Capital, Rothe worked for McKinsey & Co, where he worked in roles in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
