Linklaters has hired Gavin Lewis as a partner in the firm's litigation practice and will be based in Hong Kong. He will join from Herbert Smith Freehills. Lewis joins a Litigation team led by three partners in Linklaters' Hong Kong: Marc Harvey, Jelita Pandjaitan and Melvin Sng. He is ranked first tier by Chambers directory and became a partner at Herbert Smith in 2002.
