Lobby group calls for retirement reforms

The Retirement Income Working Party is calling on the government to reform the existing regime which forces people to buy annuities by the age of 75.

The 'Choices' report published today by the lobby group of financial services experts, examines the shortcomings of existing annuities and the current provision of retirement income for members of defined contribution pension plans who are obliged to purchase such annuities.
