Clerical Medical is celebrating the win of its first significant local authority pension fund mandate.

The £750m (€1.24bn) Gloucestershire County Council pension fund has awarded Clerical Medical a £250m fully discretionary balanced mandate. Henderson Investors and Société Générale Asset Management (SGAM) have also secured a third of the fund's assets each to manage.
