London High Court dismisses Amanda Staveley’s case against Barclays

Court heard evidence from 17 witnesses over 30 days, four expert witnesses over six days

A High Court judge has dismissed the case Amanda Staveley private equity fund PCP Capital made against Barclays.

The trial, which took place in the summer of 2020, consistently made headlines and gave the public a glimpse of the scenes behind the deals that were made at the height of the global financial crisis in 2008 and 2009.
