Bridgepoint has become the latest European buyout shop to open an office on the West Coast.
The London-based firm hired former executive GI Partners executive Alexander Fraser as a partner to run an office in San Francisco, its website shows. At GI Partners, a midmarket firm based in San Francisco, Fraser focused on internet infrastructure and healthcare deals. He joined Bridgepoint in late summer, a person familiar with the matter said.
