Knowing a bit about wine is an invaluable life skill that should really be on the curriculum at all good schools. Until the educationalists sort out their priorities, a wine course is the best bet.

It is probably too late to get a place on any of the decent courses beginning this month or next (although it is always worth contacting them for cancellations), but that shouldn’t dissuade you from booking a place for later in the year.
