Lords Committee launches inquiry into post-Brexit financial regulation

A UK parliamentary committee is to look into how financial regulation and supervision could be developed in the wake of Brexit to try and preserve access to the EU's single market.

The House of Lords' EU Financial Affairs Sub-Committee, which is chaired by Liberal Democrat peer Baroness Falkner, said its inquiry will "encompass an assessment of not only the body of regulation, but also the institutional structures that support it".
