The London Stock Exchange remains the most active European exchange for initial public offerings with 65% of the IPOs from the last quarter, according to new research.
The latest quarterly PricewaterhouseCoopers IPO Watch Europe report said that the number and value of IPOs on the LSE in the last quarter was down on the same time last year from 36 to 15 with the value falling from €2.8bn ($3.2bn) to €767m. Overall in Europe the total value of IPOs fell 70% in the last quarter.
