Market maker Van der Moolen UK has become the first firm to offer trading in fixed income securities through the London Stock Exchange's (LSE) central solution for routing messages between private client brokers and retail service providers.

The deal with Van der Moolen brings access to bid/offer prices for more than 700 US and European bonds through the RSP Gateway, which already enables private client brokers to access prices and execute trades in equities and covered warrants.
