M&A bankers set for Scottish & Newcastle fee bonanza

The £2.3bn ($2.6bn) auction of Scottish & Newcastle's pub estate is set to generate advisory and financing fee income for most of the largest investment banks.

UBS and Deutsche Bank are running the sale mandate for S&N, which attracted more than 10 first-round offers for its managed pub assets. An S&N spokeswoman said the sale will be completed by the end of the year.
