Mackenzie quits Friends Ivory & Sime for Clerical Medical

Craig Mackenzie, one of the UK's best-regarded experts in the field of socially responsible investment (SRI), has left Friends Ivory & Sime for Clerical Medical with two of his colleagues.

Mackenzie is joining his former colleague Gary Mairs, who heads Clerical Medical, the asset management arm of UK bank HBOS. His move reflects the attractive opportunities available at Clerical Medical, which has recently provided its clients with strong investment returns and is regarded by consultants as one of the UK's best fund managers.
